The 136th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union is ongoing in Dhaka, Bangladesh on its second day, where over 1500 representatives from 130 countries are taking part in this prestigious event, of which 53 Chairmen of the Parliaments, 40 Vice-Chairmen and 209 women parliamentarians.
Mongolian parliamentarians headed by Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia Mr. Miyegombo ENKHBOLD are participating in several meetings, where MP D.Lundeejantsan representing Mongolian parliament attended the Committee meeting on the Human Rights of Parliamentarians, MP N.Amarzaya attended the Forum of Women Parliamentarians, MP N.Nomtoibayar the Forum of Young Parliamentarians of the IPU, and MP O.Baasankhuu in the Debate on the Emergency Item respectively.
During his participation in the inaugural session on the General Debate themed “Redressing inequalities: Delivering on dignity and well-being for all”, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia Mr. Miyegombo ENKHBOLD delivered a keynote speech.
The 136th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and related meetings are being held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from Saturday, 1 April to Wednesday, 5 April 2017.
